Bank Negara Malaysia International Reserves as at 30 October 2009Based on Bank Negara Malaysia statement, the international reserves of Bank Negara Malaysia as at 30 October 2009 is as below,
- RM334.6 billion (equivalent to USD 96 billion)

This RM334.6 billion reserves is the highest since 31 December 2008.

The reserves is RM 0.4 billion more than the amount as at 15 October 2009, in terms of US dollar it is 0.1 billion more than 15 October 2009. Not much changes on the international reserves.

Based on this amount, the reserves position is sufficient to finance 9.9 months of retained imports and is 3.9 times the short-term external debt.

    Based on the statement, RM334.6 billion reserves is 3.9 times the short-term external debt.

    Hence, the Malaysia short-term external debt should be around RM 85.79 billion.
